Local Realtor to Broadcast Peony Festival Plans from Capitol

Local Man Catches Big Bass at Celina Reservoir

Naaman Brownlie of Euclid Avenue caught a five pound black bass about 22 inches long Friday. He reported the fish fought hard about 10 yards off Davis Landing in the Celina reservoir amid good bass and crappie fishing in the area. The Ohio open season for bass Moses April 89 for the spawning period.

Honor Scouts Gather at Van Wert Court of Honor

Four Killed at Sidney Crossing in Train Collision

A Big Four express train struck a railroad viaduct group in Sidney, Ohio, killing Peter Attenweidler 70 and four Palm isano children aged 13 9 and 7 plus their grandfather. Former Van Wert County Woman Dies in Decatur

Mrs. Caroline Weiland aged 74 of Decatur Indiana died this afternoon after a two week illness. A former Van Wert county resident she was a sister of Mrs. Willem Railing of Union township. Survived by two children Mrs. Clara Lehrman and Martin Weiland both of Decatur four sisters and a brother.

Two drunks fined then banished from Toledo
