Farmers and Merchants Street Fair Opens Next Week

The first annual Farmers and Merchants Street Fair and Home Coming runs Thursday through Saturday October 7 to 9 with the Warren Band providing music. An airplane display, stunt flying, and a wild west show with two fat ladies are planned along with Concessions and farm exhibits from Van Buren and surrounding townships. Friday is Farmers Day with speakers from the state bureau and the Farmers Federation of Grant County.

Ladies' Art and Needlework at Street Fair Exhibit

Lavanner C. Doyle becomes vice president and L. M. Hydorn secretary treasurer. Board includes Lee, Doyle, Hydorn, Comer, Cramer, Stridler, and Brad ford. An auditor praised the books as excellent.
