Woman Injured in Dundee Runaway Collision
Mrs. George Palmer of near Dundee sustained serious injuries in a runaway accident Tuesday afternoon when her horse spooked by a passing truck bolted. She landed on her head and shoulders and was taken to Marion hospital where doctors treated her injuries. Recovery is doubtful and relatives fear for her condition.

Automobile Stolen at Converse Fair Recovered by Police
Charles Lowrey’s car was stolen during the Converse fair by a group of youths. They drove it to Marion and left it in an alley. Police recovered the car about midnight and returned it to Lowrey who chose to drop the matter since no damage was done.
