Violet Farr wife of Jesse H Farr dies after a major operation at Marion hospital on September 3 1921 born March 22 1860 in Vian Buren township Grant County Indiana. She taught five years and later joined Farrville Christian church active in church and Sabbath school. Funeral held September 5 1921 at 2 pm at Farrville church with Rev. Ernest Treber officiating.

Indiana Vote Counts Narrow For Amendments At Special Election
Indiana returns from 1 409 precincts show only amendment No 1 gaining a majority. It would require full citizenship of aliens to vote and would enfranchise women. Amendment No 2 on voter registration was narrowly rejected. Most other amendments failed, including Nos 10 and 11 which would empower tax law changes and instituting a state income tax.

Clarence Wyatt Electrocuted At Jonesboro Light Plant
Clarence Wyatt, superintendent of the water works and light plant in Jonesboro, was killed during a severe electrical storm Saturday night. He was at the switchboard trying to adjust a transformer when a massive 35,000 volt surge passed through his body, crippling the plant already out of commission by the storm.

D E Jacques suffered a badly injured shoulder when his Jacques Special rolled end over end twice in the Warren races. L Chatman for Moore of Thorntown lost an eye and suffered a deep facial gash when his car hit the inside fence. Schoeman of Iowa won the 25 mile race in a Schoeman Special with Schulties second and Thomas third. Race time 28 minutes 58 seconds. Ormsby led trials in a Frontenac Ford and nearly matched the half mile record.
