Majenica Sunday School Team Defeats Van Buren in Long Game
The Methodist Sunday school team traveled to Majenica for a clash with the local Sunday school squad. The field report shows 3876 errors through four innings before the score keeper quit recording errors to save the tally of Majenica. The game lasted eight and a half innings with Majenica leading 0 0 0 0 5 0 6 against Van Buren. no casualties reported.

Burglars Visit the White Home Near Barbee Lakes
Last Thursday thieves robbed the White residence northwest of town while Frank White and daughter Miss Florence White stayed with Mr and Mrs Landers L White at Barbee Lakes. Missing items include a watch and bracelet of Miss White, Frank White dress shirts, and a new suit and watch of Landess White. No clue to the burglars has been secured. Neighbors saw men in an automobile asking directions toward Warren, then backtracked. The theft occurred about 11 00 am.
