Preparations for Free Street Fair In Van Buren

Premium list changes were approved, concessions secured, and prices standardized for all five days. Poultry firm Van Buren Produce Co. offered to cover all poultry premiums, while large buildings and barns will host livestock and exhibits. New entries are open to all residents, with secretary duties reassigned to Dahl Strider and Claude Dillon.

Camuell Williams Dies At Home Near Warren
Samuel J. Williams aged 69 died Monday at his home northeast of Warren after a two year illness. Born in Ohio in 1852 he is survived by his widow two daughters Mrs Lynn and Mrs Frank Baird of near Warren three sisters Mrs Cyrus Foltz Mrs Jane Worstat of New Augusta Indiana and Mrs Emily Taylor and two brothers Elijah Williams of Ohio City and George Williams of Indianapolis. Funeral services were held at the Warren Methodist Church at 10 30 Wednesday with Rev R V Johnson officiating Burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery Warren with the Warren I O F conducting the grave ceremony.

Outage Delays Local Paper Press Repair Weekend
A weeklong lake trip damaged the newspaper press. Burr Custer in Marion welded a broken piece, Joe Sutton of Haynes Machine Co. helped restore the morali machine, and Bro Wiley of the Warren Tribune printed part of the paper. The paper reached the office Saturday and on routes Monday, explaining late deliveries.

Funeral of Andrew Baker Held at Landessville
The funeral of Andrew Baker father of Luther Baker was held Sunday morning at the Dunkard church in Landessville with Rev. Joe Scpitzer officiating. Burial followed in Tinkle cemetery. He lived near Landessville most of his life died at 76 after a period of illness leaving seven children and several siblings.
