Sunday School Convention to Meet at Van Buren Church
The Van Buren Sunday School Association holds its spring convention at the Methodist church in Van Buren next Sunday afternoon May 16 at 2 30 oclock. Raymond Lee township secretary says speakers will attend and the public is invited. Officers will be elected and all superintendents urged to attend.

Members and families gathered at the Methodist Church last Friday for a joint celebration honoring the Sunday School contest tie and welcoming Rev. and Mrs. Harter for another year. The program featured songs, recitations, readings, an address by Dr. Johnson, and a gift of cut glass in memory of the church.
