Roll Blacksmith in Auto Smash Up

George Green the village blacksmith of Roll ran into a buggy occupied by Mr and Mrs Henry Jones a quarter mile east of Roll about 930 pm Saturday. The buggy was smashed and occupants thrown to the ground. Mrs Jones broke her right arm and Mr Jones fractured two bones in his hand. The Joneses were three miles north and east of Roll on their way home when Green riding without lights crashed into them.

Huntington pastor weds First Methodist secretary at home

Miss Bessie F. Payne longtime secretary of Huntington's First Methodist Episcopal Church married Rev. J. O. Campbell of Point Isabel at a summer home west of Huntington. The ceremony was conducted by Dr. T. M. Guild and Dr. Frank Day. Mrs. Campbell has attended every Methodist Sunday service here for 23 years and has headed the beginners department.
