Philip Studebaker Dies Near Bluffton at 76
Philip Studebaker died Sunday near Bluffton after a short illness from influenza. He was born January 1, 1844 near Dayton, Ohio, and moved to Wells county in 1869. He leaves his widow Malinda Shoemaker and eight children, plus two brothers. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Nazarene Church in Bluffton with burial in Stahl cemetery.
