About forty members met at the school house to discuss plans as the Van Buren Township Poultry Association reported 94 members with Otis Crane as the latest joiner. Officers elected for the coming year include President John Corey and Vice President E. H. DePoy with Guy Ducknall as Secretary Treasurer and J. E. Derbyshire as Assistant Secretary Treasurer. A committee on constitution and by laws was named: Walter Dawson, E. E. Anderson and Guy Ducknall. The group aims to reach 100 members soon and publish the member list.
