Farmers Institute to be Held Early Next Year

Austin Ferguson, president of the Farmers Institute for Van Buren township, announces a two day session January 3 and 4 at the Van Buren Methodist Church. The program features music by the high school orchestra, talks by Frank Tippey and M. F. Detrick, demonstrations, and reports from committees.

Death of a Little Boy Bechtold

A three year old son of Mr and Mrs G W Bechtold living northwest of town died last Friday from acute indigestion. Remains were taken to Andrews for interment. He is survived by the parents and several brothers and sisters. The Bechtold family moved to the neighborhood about a year ago. Neighbors and friends extend sympathy.
