Wolf killed on farm near Warren after brave pursuit
A large wolf was killed on Charles Freck’s farm two miles west of Warren on Friday afternoon. Farmer Briggs sighted the animal, shot it after securing a gun, and summoned Charley Foust with his fox hound. After a tense chase the hound overpowered the wounded wolf.
