Wolf killed on farm near Warren after brave pursuit
A large wolf was killed on Charles Freck’s farm two miles west of Warren on Friday afternoon. Farmer Briggs sighted the animal, shot it after securing a gun, and summoned Charley Foust with his fox hound. After a tense chase the hound overpowered the wounded wolf.

New Church To Be Dedicated In Coming January
The new church building nears completion with plastering finished and interior work underway. Chairs have been purchased and the congregation expects to occupy the new church home by Christmas. Rev.
