The Near East Relief Committee reports generous Indiana support and notes that grain sent for southern Russia Armenia and the Holy Lands is monitored by American relief workers from shipment to warehouse. Bolshevik and Turkish forces allegedly cooperate in transporting child feeding supplies and no diversion of aid is expected. Narrow escape for Van Buren hunter in quail incident
Harvey Ereckson formerly of Van Buren now lives in Michols narrowly escaped death while hunting. A second hunter fired at a covey of quail as Ereckson had just started out, shooting multiple times and injuring his right eye, which was destroyed.
