High School Hosts Art Exhibit of 200 Masterpieces

The Elson Art Co. brings a 200 piece collection of photographs gravures and color prints to the high school for an exhibit next Thursday through Saturday. Admission is 15 cents with proceeds funding school art purchases. The show aims to educate the public and inspire appreciation of world art.

Van Buren basketball fans await a Saturday night showdown on November 26 between the Victory Five and Young America K of P. Nevin Concert Co Faces Small Deficit With Appeal

General admission tickets totaled 56 adults and 4 children for a $29.40 revenue. The course faces a deficit near $115, and organizers hope the next number will nearly cover it. Dr. Convis will appeal to students with firsthand talks on Russia and Siberia’s social and economic conditions. He spoke at Mason last summer and Van Buren residents found his talk engaging. An eight grade and high school ticket push will target the opera house event on Wednesday evening, November 90.

Gospel From A Different Angle At Pentecostal Meeting

A large crowd heard Rev. Lutes discuss the Gospel from a new angle using John Mansfield and the poem The Everlasting Mercy. The sermon traced Saul Kane from a life of sin to conversion showing the image of God remains in all, offering hope.
