Fertilizer Demonstration Yields High Wheat at Fisher Farm
Acid phosphate applied last fall to wheat on William Fisher's farm in Coolspring township La Porte county produced 33 bushels per acre. Neighbor George Bull earned 27.7 bushels and Walter Bull 29 bushels from the same soil treatment. Demonstrations with County Agent C A Buechner show the crop is twice as large as unfertilized farms in the area.
