All Day Christian Rally in Van Buren Draws Churches
The annual Grant county Christian churches rally will be held Sunday August 2 on the lawn by the public library in Van Buren. Delegations are expected from Marion Swayzee Jones Chapel Center Chapel Fairmount Gas City Howe Chapel Warren Huntington Banquo and others. Morning sessions include Bible school led by Mrs Shane and talks by Rev A L Martin and Dr B O Cunningham with music by D L Johns. A basket dinner is planned at noon and the afternoon program features Prof Frank Harbison greetings from all represented churches and closing remarks by Dr Cunningham.
