Yorktowne Volunteer Life Squad and Fire Company announce a Grand Ole Opry style show at Mason High School on October 25 to raise funds for building materials for a new firehouse at the Yorktowne Mobile Home Park. Nashville stars Johnny Russell Atlanta James Willis Wade Patsy Sledd and more will perform. Tickets are $10 for families. advance sales through Boggs and Lucille Leifheit. Proceeds fund a volunteer firehouse housing a truck and ambulance serving the park. The group organized in 1971 after mobile homes burned in the park.
