Lakota District to Get 55111 for New School Buses
The Lakota Local School District will receive 55111 in state funds covering 47 percent of the cost for five new buses and 100 percent for two others, including a handicapped transport bus. Union Township Police Levy On Ballot In November
Voters will decide a 1.5 mill levy to fund additional police manpower and equipment for the Union Township police department. If defeated, CETA funding could end, cutting three patrolmen. A non partisan committee led by Frank Ramminger backs the measure and the paper will publish a detail series.
