Marijuana arrest rattles Mendocino county area
Sheriff deputies questioned a 19 year old youth after a tip from Palo Alto police led to the arrest on a ranch near Mendocino five miles east of the Comatche Ukiah road. Gregory C Johnson was booked for possession of marijuana and about 14 pounds of cured marijuana was recovered. An 18 year old girl from Wooldside high school in Palo Alto was arrested for peddling marijuana to students at high school parking lots.

A 32 year old Mozambique woman gave birth to quadruplets and a fifth baby at Zavala Hospital in Inhambane. The four boys and one girl weighed under 2 kilograms each and were described as quite tiny.
