Blaze destroys Al Thrasher Lumber Company near Highway 20
A welding torch caused a major fire at the Al Thrasher Lumber Company on the Russian River near the Highway 20 bridge yesterday. Fire departments from Redwood Valley Calpella Ukiah and state forestry battled flames that jumped buildings, with total losses including lumber piles and several outbuildings. Bus Tampering Arrest in Ukiah After Bus Found
