SACRAMENTO UPI The 1965 California legislature was called dull yet not inert, approving only nine of forty six proposed park and recreation projects after hesitancy and rejecting restrictive firearms controls. It stalled a plan to renew Fish and Game regulatory powers every four years, and debated anchovy fishing limits south of Point Sur. Lawmakers criticized the Resources Agency for not studying all suggested parks, and anticipated possible approval next year.
