ONeill Says No Override If Carter Veto On Water Bill

Last of five Ray escapees is caught
Sammy Joe Chapman recaptured the last of five escapees from Brushy Mountain State Prison. Douglas Shelton, a 98 year sentence inmate, was seized near the same area as Ray. Shelton’s capture ends the escapees chain and the warden noted Ray carried $240 at capture. Shelton fled in a van after grabbing owner Larry Joe Phillips.
