Ukiahi adopts double sessions for balance of semester with a five period day and optional sixth period. Juniors and seniors attend morning classes. freshmen and sophomores in afternoon. Sixth period requires self-transport. First session runs 7 40 to 11 55 a m. second 12 15 to 4 30 p m.
A five member panel at the North County Supervisors Association meeting in Lake County examined private enterprise role in public lands recreation using Lake Berryessa as a case. Napa Administrator Al Haberger urged federal backing to assist private developers while reforming restrictive laws. He noted leases set by the Bureau of Reclamation hinder borrowing and that current terms allow subletting to mobile home owners rather than creating needed facilities.
