Four female prisoners recaptured after Florida escape
Four women including a murderess and two with attempted murder convictions escaped from a Florida prison and held a hostage, Mrs. Elizabeth Peeler, at knifepoint. The group was found under an oak tree near Williston after a day in the cold. Peeler, released unharmed, kept her humor despite binders as law enforcement launched a large manhunt.
