Lake County solid waste program nears self funding goal
Lake Supervisors heard that the solid waste management program is on track to raise about 232000 this year to become self funding. About 160000 will come from property taxes and 70000 from gate fees. The salvage operation at the waste transfer station will go to bid January 1 with no gate fee changes planned.
