First Female Telephone Installer Hopeful Tops Training
Alana MacFarlane a 20 year old San Rafael resident is on track to become northern California’s first female Pacific Telephone installer repairman. Her pole climbing at the Emeryville training center impressed instructor Bob Glover who praised her coordination and self confidence. She finished the pole climbing segment and will start installation and repair phases next week.
