Frank Wolfe, manager of the Greater Ukiah Chamber of Commerce since October 1971, will leave Ukiah September 21 to become manager of the Lodi Chamber of Commerce. Head injuries prove fatal to hunter
Ralph Dhur, 30, of Redwood City, died from head injuries after a four wheel drive overturned on Covelo road during a hunting trip in Round Valley. Driver Frankie Raymon, 28, Half Moon Bay, was jailed on suspicion of drunk driving with possible felony charges pending. Witnesses say the eastbound vehicle veered on a curve at about 4:52 p.m. Saturday. two companions, Joseph Guerrero, 22, Pacifica, survived uninjured. Dhur becomes Mendocino county’s 18th roadway death this year.
