Colusa County murder case linked to missing Yuba City man
A car owned by Gordon Gilmore of Yuba City was found at James Creek off Highway 20 with a bullet hole, after Gilmore and a companion were found dead in Colusa County. An all points bulletin had been issued, and authorities moved to Mendocino County as they pursued the vehicle.

Potter Valley man nabbed in rape burglary case in Ukiah
Lawmen arrest 22 year old Robert Evans Wilson Jr. on rape and burglary charges after an alleged attempt to assault a 21 year old Ukiah woman on Lorraine Street. County approves flat cost of living wage hike for MCEA
After five months of talks the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors approved a one year contract with the Mendocino County Employer Association for a flat 25 dollar per month pay increase on the middle step, with other steps adjusted to stay five percent apart. The agreement costs about 217 thousand dollars and covers most county workers while excluding nurses and management.
