Tami Davis Crowned 1973 Red Wood Empire Fair Queen
Tami Davis, 17, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ted Davis Ukiah, won the 1973 Red Wood Empire Fair Queen title after a 90 minute ceremony. First runner up was Pam Myers and second runner up Johnny Kay Sasser. Loretta Sweet won Miss Congeniality. The pageant featured judges Floyd Baldwin John Egge and Jackie O'Delly with performances by the Wheelers and George Goulding. The fair runs through Sunday with multiple events including rodeo and talent shows.
