County May Refuse Election Without State Reimbursement

Willits Vet Guilty on Four Counts of Sexual Perversion
Dr. David Ward a 37 year old Willits veterinarian was found guilty on four counts of sexual perversion involving juvenile boys. The verdict by Superior Judge A B Broaddus followed a preliminary hearing and evidence shows oral copulation with two youths aged 15 and 16 during 1971 and 1972. Four incidents were charged and the case arose after sheriff's investigation into Ward's role in helping a juvenile run away from home. Aug 20 is set for probation report and sentencing.
