Roy Gianoli 16 of 107 Glenwood Drive was cut about the mouth and had several teeth loosened when his motorcycle collided with a car driven by Charles C. Harter of rural Ukiah in the 900 block of North State Street yesterday at 2:53 pm. Passenger Kenneth Jardine, 15, was unharmed. Gianoli told police he was northbound when Harter pulled out from Low Gap into his path. Sgt. Harold Anderson took Gianoli to a dentist for treatment.

informer leads FBI to graves of civil rights workers
FBI agents found the bodies of three slain civil rights workers at a farm pond near Philadelphia Mississippi after an informer led them to the site. Identifications confirmed two victims as Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner, with James Chaney identified tentatively.
