County Supervisors to Review CETA Job Cuts and Grants
County supervisors meet Tuesday to adopt a priority list to cut back federally funded jobs in the new fiscal year starting July 1. They approved 171 Title II CETA slots after two years of funding in January, with 1975-76 allocations expected at about one quarter of that amount. The board will also consider North Coast Opportunities seeking HEW grant support for a social planning study and receive a POST management study on the Mendocino County sheriff's office.

Motorbike car crash claims Clearlake Park man
A 32 year old Clearlake Park man Ralph C. Pulley died early Saturday in a Lakeshore Drive motorcycle crash near Alpine Street. Pulley crossed the centerline after passing a vehicle and collided with an eastbound car driven by 33 year old Miachel Sanfilippo of Gilroy. Pulley was pronounced dead at the scene and later taken to Jones and Lewis Mortuary in Lower Lake.
