Parachute Jumper Plans 21 Mile World Record Attempt
Nickolas J. Piantanida of Brick Township New York plans a world record parachute jump from 115000 feet in September next year. The Duluth Air Force Base announced the attempt will run between September 10 and 16 from a balloon gondola at Anoks County Airport near Minneapolis St Paul. The jump aims to surpass Air Force Captain Joseph Kittinger Jr who set the 102000 foot mark five years ago.
