Vail School Board Recall Election Sees Two Incumbents Challenged
A Tucson resident Gene Williams will oppose board president John Hathaway in the recall election. Carlton Wallmark faces Mrs Dan McKinney Jr to fill remaining term portions. Polls open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Vail School. Two other potential candidates declined to run after petitions.

The Tucson Kiwanis Club will hear J James Rowan assistant special agent in charge of the Phoenix FBI office speak Friday noon at the Pioneer Hotel. Anna Grossman Pavilion Planned For Handmaker Home
Plans for a 32 bed intensive care unit at Handmaker Jewish Nursing Home for the Aged were announced. The unit will be named the Anna Grossman Pavilion and endowed by Esther and Morris Grossman Foundation. The 11,400 square foot addition includes a nurses station dining area and recreation spaces and is slated for completion in late 1966. Theodore H. Koff is executive director of the home.

State Sen. B. C. Rhodes dies after brain hemorrhage
Arizona state senator B C Rhodes 44 died in Good Samaritan Hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage May 19. He underwent surgery May 29 with little improvement. Rhodes a farmer from Goodyear served in the Senate Agriculture and Irrigation Committee and was a Democrat leader. Survived by wife Doris three children and his parents.
