The ninth annual Arizona Boys State awards breakfast named delegates to Boys Nation in Washington. Joseph Preuratil and Brent Cardwell, both of Phoenix, were chosen as delegates with Richard Sparks and Jack Geiger as alternates. Pilot escapes jet crash near Yuma Air Force Base
First Lt. James A. Malek of Westchester Illinois parachuted from a crippled jet over the desert southwest of Yuma Air Force Base. Hanson Brothers Fined For Reckless Driving Case At Polo Village
Robert C. Hanson 21 and William J. Hanson 18 faced a bench trial for traffic offenses following a reckless driving incident in University of Arizona Polo Village.
