Tucson gains new bankruptcy court judge William A Scanland
Tucson attorney William A Scanland has taken over for Hugh M Caldwell as U S Bankruptcy Court Judge. Scanland, a 1947 University of Arizona law graduate, practiced privately about 25 years before being sworn in last week. Caldwell, the sole Tucson bankruptcy judge since 1960, has been transferred to Phoenix to raise the court there to three judgeships.
