The 127 unit senior citizens high rise named Cayuga Heights will be dedicated Wednesday at 7 p m. Mayor Ronald Canestrari says the project helps downtown Cohoes revive and provides housing and a built in clientele for local merchants. The dedication is at the Remser Street building near the Cohoes Community Center. Public invited.

Two arraigned in theft at Universal Needle Crafts
Barbara Spirowski and Michael Duquette, employees of Universal Needle Crafts Corp, were arraigned in Cohoes Police Court after a Friday night theft of three comforters. Spirowski posted $500 bail and Duquette $100. both face further court dates. Officers Westfall, Enfield, and Decatur responded to a larceny in progress at 39 Saratoga Street.
