Richard Witbeck of Troy RD 1 escaped injury Monday morning when struck in the head by a rock while driving south on Broadway in a tractor trailer owned by Valente Sand Gravel Co. of Troy. East Greenbush man charged with disorderly conduct

Donald R. Welch Jr. age 20 of 43 Sherwood Avenue was arrested Sunday night in East Greenbush on disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after walking with a shotgun while intoxicated. He refused handcuffing and shoved the officer, was released on bail, and set for court before Town Justice Patrick T. Maney.
