State Comptroller Arthur Levitt announced distribution of 2,584,884.09 in motor vehicle tax receipts to counties and New York City for the quarter ending June 30 1958. New York City receives 891,006.80, with Rensselaer County at 27045.10 and Albany 58201.77. Other counties include Saratoga 16689.93 Washington 11850.40 and Warren 12015.45. Local county road funds back road construction and maintenance, while New York City funds go to the general fund for streets highways and parkways.
