Troy Youths Held After Accident in Green Island
Two Troy youths are being held by Green Island Police after an accident Monday in Green Island injuring Allan Mareil, 28, of 182 Hudson Ave. Jalet, 19, of Taylor Apartments, pleaded not guilty to leaving the scene and was ordered to post $200 bail or be remanded to Albany County Jail for today's hearing. The collision occurred about 11 p.m. at George and Center Streets.

East Greenbush Water System Funds Passed
The Community Facilities Administration of the Federal Housing Agency allotted $59,000 to plan a proposed new East Greenbush water system costing about $1,200,000. East Greenbush operates an existing system and cites rapid population growth necessitating extra supply. The funds cover reservoir location and design estimates.

Vehicle Crash In Waterford Lands Two in Court
The Marcil vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed after an accident. Mr Marcil was taken to St Marys Hospital by police car with injuries to the left arm and hip and later released. Jatet and John Di Scanio fled the scene. Di Scanio, 19, of 268 4th St, was arraigned for disorderly conduct, pleaded guilty, and fined 25 dollars. He is a parolee and police hold him for possible parole violation. The Marcil car was owned by Mitchell Marcil of R D 1 Waterford, and operated by Jalet, owned by Gus Lannio of 283 4th St Troy.
