Harold A. Webster of Stillwater received the Meritorious Service Award from the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry for unselfish devotion and loyalty. The presentation at his home included a jewel plaque hat and lapel pin while his Ondawa Masonic Lodge ties noted. Webster retired in 1969 after 28 years with the Department of the Army as a civilian technician.
Mechanicville officials announce the Ladies Auxiliary of Elks Lodge 1403 will sponsor a chili dinner today to raise funds for cerebral palsy. The event runs from noon to 8 p.m. at the lodge rooms.
