Bridge Hands By Jacoby in the Shreveport Tourney
In a Shreveport tournament game Ed Henes of Oklahoma City avoided asking partner to continue a suit after a doubleton. He played the deuce of diamonds first, Byron Greenberg chilled to a heart, Ed won with the jack and queen of hearts, then led another diamond. Myron captured with ace and jack and guided a fourth diamond, allowing Ed to overruff the dummy and lose only one trick. If signaling high had occurred, the suit would continue and an overtrick could have occurred.
