Reno Judge Upholds Duke Divorce In Nevada Ruling
Judge William McKnight affirmed a Nevada divorce decree granted to Doris Duke Cromwell in December. He ruled New Jersey proceedings were procured by fraud and that Washoe County court had proper jurisdiction. The judge found desertion did not occur and noted the parties separated by mutual consent in 1910 amid alleged cruelty.
