Parolee Charged With Burglary At Luncheonette
Clifford Goodale, 29, of Clinton Street, arraigned in Troy City Court on charges of burglary and petty larceny for allegedly breaking into the Mayflower Luncheonette on River Street late Sunday night or early Monday morning. He was held on $25 bond, remanded to Rensselaer County Jail, with parole from an Albany robbery sentence before 1961.

Suburbanite Home Unit Holds Christmas Demonstration Event
The Suburbanite Home Unit met at Arthur Chrestensen's home to feature Christmas tables and gift wrapping led by Mrs. DeWitt Shafer. The next meeting will be December 4 at Mrs. Harold Twiss's home with place setting readings. Members will bring gifts for a Salvation Army drive, and the Christmas party is planned December 18 at Mrs. Shafer's home with a covered dish meal.
