Rexford Water District Delays Hit Rexford Town Board
Rexford residents face further delays as Babcock Construction, the second contractor after Rexford Weating and Plumbing, has yet to connect 17 homes to the nearly finished water system. The town board, angered by the lack of contract, will have each councilman call the contractor to press completion. Additionally, four public hearings were scheduled for Dec 13 at 7 p.m. on topics including New Channels cable system, truck traffic limits on Alplaus Road, speed limits on Nott and Waite roads, and boosting senior tax exemptions from 50 to 60 percent for incomes up to 6500. Elaine Grogan was named tax collector to replace the resigned William Horstmann.

Cambridge Man Charged in Dormitory Theft Case
Cambridge man Stuart Dickerson of Jerome Drive was charged with grand larceny third degree for stealing a diamond ring from a Mary McClellan Hospital dormitory. Police say the ring, worth $1,000, disappeared Sept 7 and Dickerson was arrested after a two month investigation. He was arraigned and jailed on $1,000 bail.

Dudek Poised as Next Saratoga County Board Chairman
