Man pleads guilty to assault on former city judge
Ronald F. LaCoy of 119 Washington Ave Rensselaer pleaded guilty in Rensselaer County Court to a reduced third degree assault charge for striking former City Judge Peter J. Conlin outside the judge's home after an argument over attention to Conlin's daughter. Sentencing set for December 3 after probation review.
