Cohoes Approves Expanded Central Business District Plan
The Cohoes Common Council approved expanding the Central Business District to Columbia Street, granting the Urban Renewal Agency power to operate there and pursue funding. The measure aims to acquire the old National Furniture site for parking and secure more grants, with sidewalks planned and condemnation possible if settlements fail.
