Republican and Conservative Gerald B. Solomon won re election in New York's 110th district defeating Democrat Hayner Bornt by about 25 000 votes. Totals stood 34987 to 9563 at 130 am Wednesday with Solomon garnering roughly 82 percent. Bornt and Solomon shared similar welfare tax and education reform stances and farmer aid policies.
