Tenant Sues Landlord For Injury In Albany Court
The jury in a $20,000 negligence suit against landlord Joseph Grove of Oneonta was selected in Supreme Court for Rensselaer County after admissible jurors who are property owners were required. Plaintiff Afra Gyo B. Cumomgs alleges injury June 1 1945 when a wine sash dropper struck her hand. her attorney David Rosenfeld seeks damages. Defendant Grove is represented by Taylor and Taylor. A separate verdict of no cause of action was returned against Donald and Charles Vine doing business at Albany under the Town House name. The plaintiff, represented by John P. Weatherwax, sued for damages alleging serious injury Oct 4 while ascending steps to the Town House door. The case was heard Thursday before Justice Isadore Bookstein.

Automobile collision suit settles in North Greenrash case
Yesterday the attorneys summed up their sides to the jury and Justice Bookstein charged on the law. The case of Frank G. Cummhey, assistant district attorney of Rengselaar County against Charles J. Belolle with Margaret Boylan was submitted to the jury after a settlement was announced. The action stemmed from an automobile accident last August with the settlement amount not disclosed.
