Guitarist To Open Area Arts In April Series
Maria College in Albany sponsors a four part Arts in April series for the Greater Troy Area residents. The lineup includes flamenco guitarist Carlos Montoya opening next Thursday, April 5, with 8 p.m. curtain in the Maria College auditorium. Subsequent events feature Trialogue with a Catholic priest, rabbi and Protestant minister on April 13, Bergman film The Seventh Seal discussion on April 19 and 20, and conclude April 27 with Maria College and Our Lady of Angels Seminary Glee Club concerts. An art exhibit by Margaret G. Foster runs April 2 to 30.

Sightings Of Objects Explained In Upstate NY Area
Officials in the Ballston Lake and Burnt Hills area reported Wednesday night UFO sightings described as pulsating red lights that hovered briefly before shooting upward. Col John C Campbell Jr of the 109th Military Airlift Group said two C 57 transports with red lights were in the air, circling after a Griffis AFB flight while practicing instrument approaches near Schenectady County Airport.

Woman Awarded 8000 In Car Crash Verdict
A Troy woman, Beverly Smith of 723 5th Ave, won an $8000 verdict in a Rensselaer County Supreme Court two car crash suit. She sued both drivers, while Mrs. Sandra Morrissey sought $10,000 from Emile LaPietra for injuries and $1,033 for car damages. the jury awarded no action to Morrissey. Collision occurred at Hutson and Earl Streets on Dec 20, 1965. deliberations began Wednesday afternoon and resumed Thursday after a delayed verdict.

Driving License Restored in Hardship Case for Burdick
